Univega Gran Turismo late 70s early 80s model. 100% original. 15 speed. Bike has hardly been used and is in great shape. Tires are original and take air but would be best to replace.Japanese made model. Tall bike I believe it's 29" high frame?I really know nothing about the bike and I am solely basing my price on research, so make me an offer. Bike was given to me at work and I have to get rid of it asap. $75 obo

This is an early '50s French constructeur-style bike. My research shows that it was made in Bordeaux for former Tour winner Roger Lapebie's shop. It's in pretty good condition considering it's age. The rear derailleur is an early band-spring huret. Brakes are a very nice set of CLB calipers and guidonnet levers. It's deserving of a full restoration, but I can't give it the attention that it deserves. Price is $300 firm.

Too small for me or anyone that I think would be interested.

https://chicago.craigslist.org/chc/bik/2071150629.html

Beautiful FUJI AMERICA with a 21 inch /53 centimeter double butted chromoly 331 frame center crank to seat post, 31 inch standover, SunTour Vx rear derailleur, SunTour Cyclone front derailleur, SunTour handle bar end shifting, GRAN-COMPE brakes, UKAI 7000 rims with quick release, 12 speed, Sugino crank, FUJI Olimpiad handle bar, Fuji stem, Mikashima toe clips, Leather saddle, Superb condition. Could use new bar tape, chain, and possibly tires. Some very minor age marks. Fully functional and clean as is.

This is a very clean and original example of a high end vintage Fuji. You'll be amazed at how light and how clean it is. This would make a great gift for the vintage biker.

Has to be early 80's....

Vintage Lugged MTB Miyata Perfect Single Speed or Townie - $75 (Denver, CO)

All original as far as I can tell, lugged Miyata mountain bike. Suntour derailleurs, SR/Sugino crank, very cool stem and moto type grips, Suntour thumb shifters. Nicely made in Japan lugged frame and fork. Frame measures 20" with 22.5" top tube, stand over is 31", not much of a sloping top tube. Cool retro style. Saddle is coming apart, but I'll throw in another (more modern) saddle with the bike. Been sitting in a garage for decades so it needs a good going over. I've also got a couple of old Blackburn rear racks and some handlebar bags, pumps etc.that would be low cost extras if you want them. Asking $75 make offer, located in Parker. Email this ad or call/text 720-xx-xxxx.

That looks familiar: https://www.bikeforums.net/classic-vintage/686831-wow-50s-french-mixtie-find.html

My hunch is that $300 is a steal for that.

I priced it to (hopefully) sell quickly. Finances had started to spiral and I wanted to stay on top of everything. I only ended up having two contacts during the 20-some hours the ad was up. First person to see it paid full asking and as luck would have it he also had bought one of my frames at the last swap out here. He has the time and money to do a better resto than I can afford. I'll try to pass on the pics when he gets it done.

Bike sold for over $1,000 about 10 years ago. If it's not "hot", beat, and the forks are ok...lot's of $wiggle room$ for replacement parts and upgrades.

Could be the Tenax one, 1985 with Cantis, a triple, Blackburn rack, definitely worth investigating.
If I remember correctly, that's a touring bike.

Hmmm

There's a design exercise for me to ponder if I ever need to build a powered wheelchair by welding another Schwinn to mine and adding a 250cc Yamaha.

Vintage bike (late 1980's?) but in like new condition. Riden aproximately 5 times. I bought it sight unseen. Discovered how to measure bikes the hard way, as it is way too small for me! Should be ideal for someone shorter , 5'2" to 5'5".
Many ads say "like new" but this bike has literally no wear, which is why I bought it. Would be happy to trade for bike in similar condition but in the 58cm to 62cm range. Call for more info Bernie 206-799-7050

Hi, I have a 63 cm 1986/87 columbus steel frame . It has some condition problems, but that is to be expected from an older frame. I had it set up as a fixed gear, so the bottom bracket is still set up for this purpose. Mike 617 279 3713

If you're looking for something French:
https://milwaukee.craigslist.org/bik/2072422475.html

Follis 10 speed. I stopped today and took a look at it. About 52-53cm ctc seat tube, about a 56cm ctc top tube, 27" tires, steel rims, Stronglight cranks, bolt-on derailleur hanger, barend shifters. The owner is probably the original owner. The seat tube looks a little questionable for stuck-ness, I wasn't buying it right then so I didn't ask if I could see if the seattube was free. Condition is original and well used but not overly trashed, just basement neglected and needing attention. Paint condition I didn't look too closely at. I think she is stuck on wanting a $50 for it. I'd guess the pedals are French threaded by the looks of them, maybe, hard to say for certain.
