I missed this one - because I tend to ignore this seller's ads. He has gone by 10+ names in the last 2 years. He gets some nice bikes, but they were almost always listed the day before for 1/4 the $$ and he has made no improvements. Tends to be at least one lie in every ad, I say "lie" because of the consistency. Every bike is listed as "Pro" or "Team". Often fails to fix, or mention, flaws that were disclosed in original ad where he bought bike.

I have a Raleigh Pro frameset hanging in the garage that I got from a friend who did exactly that; buy a beautiful, original condition classic so he could sell off the Campy bits. I wouldn't do that myself but you can't undo what's been done. They're only original once.

Sears Best @ local Co-op
Swung by my local Co-op today and was impressed by the nicest Sears bike I've ever seen. Sporting a Shimano Lark RD with a 5 speed freewheel. Any guesses as to year? My first guess was 60's but wasn't the Lark a 70's product?
