Wrong Bolt/Nut on Nitto Stem?

This is why you should look things over carefully when you buy off Ebay.

I just got a Nitto Stem off ebay. Not sure what model is. But I think the Nut, and maybe the bolt might be wrong.

I think the nut might be wrong because most I have seen have a fancy little triangle nut.

I think the bolt might be wrong because it seems small for the hole. Although, it also appears to be stuck in there. I haven't tried real hard, but I have not been able to push out the bolt.

Thoughts?

Does it look wrong? Both the nut and the bolt?

Anyone know a source for the right ones?

I am guessing that finding the right triangle shaped nut will be hard. I was thinking I would just try and push out the bolt, and maybe make a trip to the hardware store. Sound like a good plan?

this may sound funny but.... find a good local gunsmith. he can likely reshape a bolt head and make the triangle nut for you. just find a good pic of what it should look like.

OH this would be a guy who offers custom work like rebarreling re chambering and things lie that. not the guy at Dicks or Gander mountain who just mounts scopes.
