Clamp on cable stops with or without adjusters.

I am in need of some cble stops for my Falcon - it came with clamp on DT shifters (Campy) and I need a clamp on cable stop to put there, as I am going STI on the frame - does anyone make a clamp on cable stop with adjusters? IF not, is there a set of clamp on shifters that will accept the Shimano downtube cable stop/adjusters?

If no to all of the above, anyone have an idea where I could find downtube cable stops at all? I'm having no luck on ebay.

Thanks. I found those after I posted, but I would really like some that have adjusters/I can put adjusters on. Any luck on that front?

Bikes: Too many to list here check my signature.

if you have/can find an older pair of shimano shifters with a clamp you might be able to use that to attach the stops pictured above.

Does anyone know that for sure?

These were made with a Shimano Light Action DT shifter clamp on band and Shimano cable stops. It required some grinding to the back side of the aluminum stops to properly mate with the clamp.

Why not just take the levers off the Campagolo clamp-on shifters and install a set of cable stops with adjusters? You already have those shifters.

If you buy the "Dura Ace" model adjusters/stops, the R one has some adjustment. I just can't justify the price, and I buy the cheaper ones when I need some.

Many bike shops have some extras in a little green plastic envelope; they came with STI shifter kits and accumulate over time.

You could use in-line adjusters with a vintage clamp on housing stop on the DT (like used for bar end shifters).

Those cable adjusters don't work with Campy or Suntour clamp on shifters. I tried.

Oh, now I get it...I think there the old Huret clamp would accept the cable stops with the adjusting barrel. I put some indexed shifters on one once, so I assume the adjstable cable stop would work, too.

You could try Campagnolo cable stops. They're sort of expensive and not easy to find, but I think Lickton's stocks them. Or google up Problem Solvers Backstop. They're clamp on cable stops without adjusters available in several sizes.
