Raleigh single speed survivor. NYC, Madison Avenue in the low 30s. Best shots I could grab. Dig the rear rack!

Not sure about the head tube extension...

Nicely done drop bar conversion of a High Sierra. Looks like a great city/tourer.

Is that your bike next to it? It looks very interesting!

Not C or V but quite a sight. And a sound; there was a boombox in the first trailer. Cranked. He was kinda dancing, too.

I really like this. What colour do you suppose the bike was originally painted? I have half a mind to take my parts donor step through '72 Sports and use it in this style.

Seen this one around the neighborhood a few times. A nice Canuckian classic, intelligently and tastefully modernized.

I spotted this beauty parked on a roof while I was out on a walk.

Began viewing the photos in reverse order and me first thought was "my that P.O. sure looks familiar." Then saw the Landscape Station sign and knew peechas from me neighbourhood.

This machine would make a wonderful alternative to one of those "guess how many gum drops are in the jar" contests. It could be "How many Fleur de Lys are there on this bicycle?"

juvela, it was busy on Solano yesterday. Too nice of a day to be on lockdown.

About those Fleurs-de-Lyes, how do you think they may have been done? They are so uniform, it almost looks like wallpaper. Painted on with stencils? Applied as strips of decals before clear coat?

Seen at the park this morning, a fixified Univega tourer. Specialissima, maybe? I don't know the line that well and this one was pretty scraped up with few legible decals.

Had not known that Lou Tondu was doing framebuilding.

Recall him from the Berkeley cycling scene of the 1970's.

This old Panasonic Villager spotted at the Kroger yesterday isn't really anything to write home about. When I first spied it I thought it was on old Schwinn or maybe a Fuji. The newish pedals and clips are interesting.

This...This is....is magnificent....it's indescribably beautiful....it reminds me of the fourth of July! https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...5fa38d7a_k.jpg

Now I have some crazy ideas for my sisters Circut vinyl cutter.

Stopped a fellow rider today and asked if I could take a picture of her bike. She was an elderly lady who bought the bike new. She was dressed up in cycling garb ready to tackle the "gentle" Winnipeg breezes afforded us today. She said she loved the bike but was wanting to buy something with a more upright riding position and fatter tires.

Somewhat off track but worth mentioning. I see these occasionally but this is the first photo I've gotten of one. The rack is upside down. The padded hoops poking up should be resting on the trunklid and bumper while the yellow-tipped arms flanking the license plate should be pointing rearward to support the bike.

Welcome to Florida.

Florida tag shot a couple of miles from me. What worries me is that they might have learned that fitting technique around here.

Wow, right by the connector? Heck of a place to have to leave a bike.
