Snaps taken on vacations in Denmark and Berlin. The danish SCO´s my favourite. |
Seen at the Wheels of Italy show here in the Twin Cities!

Some more "wild" bikes from urban jungle Berlin this august. Visiting cities is the only time when I carry a camera around... The Swiss olympic I never heard of (lardy lugs!), the Moto with wildlife forks. |
A Cambio Corsa equipped Legnano with thru the top tube brake cabling? Who would do that? And why?

My guess is a certain owner of the bicycle crashed it and they replaced the top tube. It was fun seeing all the bicycles together though. |
For sale at the flea market today, a Motobecane Mirage, and a Suntour equipped Nishiki International for a very reasonable $125.

This Schwinn Super Sport looked to have still-wet paint. It was practically off the shelf with Shimano 600. Almost no brakewear on the rims even.

Yes, I waited and inquired with the owner but it was not to be. He'd brought it over from Italy in the 70s he said. He didn't look to need any money either. Oh well, got to ask... http://i850.photobucket.com/albums/a...e/IMG_5058.jpg http://i850.photobucket.com/albums/a...e/IMG_5056.jpg |

One day I'm going to get a bike with a name I can't pronounce...

I was attending a board meeting this afternoon at ASU. ASU is now the largest campus in the US (Minnesota use to be) and cycling is a very necessary form of transportation. I was seeing the usual mix of MTB's, low level road bikes, fixies, when I saw this one.

I miss ASU! We used to do all nighters at the College of Architecture and I'd take my Nishiki out at 3:00 am and cross the campus riding as fast as I could down the malls. The cold night air would wake me up. This was back in 1983 - 1985. Luckily I didn't hit anything at those speeds or it would have been bad - no helmut and all. 1982 Nishiki Cresta |
It's hard to tell just how spectacular this Chris Wright is with these photos, but this build was exceptional.

Spotted in the Wild
I wouldn't be surprised the owner of this nice tall Chicago build Schwinn is a BF member.

Poor old Raleigh, being used as "decor" chained to a tree like a wild animal at the Lowery Park Zoo in Tampa....I had an urge to cut it free, give it a good OA Bath, but I fear it may be too late...

I sort of like the rusty Raleigh, that's a nice hue.

Spotted this Royal Scot in someones storefront office. Love the crate, and the bike was amazingly clean.

Nice Phinelli! ;)

That Bilenky is amazing! That's a Schmidt dynamo on the front, too, isn't it?
It's amazing what people will lock up in Philly. |
Heh! I feel like we do have our share of nice rides.
