Freewheel threads 35 mm X 24 tpi, Italian threads, help needed.
Hi,
I hav not posted here for a long time but I´m back on the saddle again :-)
I have a beautiful set of hubs, Campagnolo Record high flange hubs. The rearhub has italian threads, 35 mm X 24 tpi. I have had them for some years now unused in original box. I have now decided to put them to use and have just built them into two nice wheels for my 1977 racer.
The thing is I do not longer remember how to se if a freewheel has Italian threads or not. I have one that I think has the right threading but I want to be sure before fitting the freewheel to the hub.
The freewheel is a Regina Corsa 5-speed and the only marking I can see is "2 ITALY 79".
Can anyone out there tell if this indeed is a Italian threaded freewheel?
Thanks
Anders

Regina freewheels are marked on the back of the body, if they are non-Italian. One groove or "FI" stamps indicates English threading. Two grooves or "FF" stamp indicates Fench threading. No grooves or stamping on the back indicates Italian threading.
