Help me define this schwinn paramount

I have a red, white and blue schwinn paramount series pdg. I imagine it's a series 3 because it has full ultegra/600, but the bottom of the bottom bracket doesn't have a serial #. The front lower lug on the headtube is stamped 1F00007 and the dropouts just say "tange TR". I'm curious to find out more. It looks identical to the 1988 schwinn paramount team wheaties bike, except it has the series pdg logos like the one on waterfords site. The serial number database doesn't make any sense of my paramount.
It's a 48-50 cm by the way.

I've seen one in the exact same paint scheme, that the owner was saying was a 1990. I don't know if he's right or wrong, or if they offered that same paint scheme in other years.

All I know is that I REALLY like it!

Bikes: Crap. The box is not big enough...

I have a paramount mountain bike with exactly the same paint job...it is a 90 as well.

Cool! I was really curious and still haven't found even ONE like it. Any ideas on the serial number being on the lower front lug, and not matching the format of Waterford or panasonic built paramounts.

The fork crown doesn't look of waterford origin to me. Looks more asian (taiwan). And, you have a few "extra" non bike related pics in your first link!

Bikes: '75 Schwinn Paramount P-10, '86 Ritchey Commando, '87 Schwinn Cimarron, '91 Trek 990, '87 Schwinn High Sierra, '73 Schwinn Super Sport, '4? Schwinn New World, '76 Swing Bike.

1Fxxxxx is a June of 1991 date (not sure if Panasonic was putting the actual year or the "model" year in at this point). The serial in the lower headlug is a Panasonic thing (though not always -- as in many of the bikes they built for Schwinn).

It is, by far, my favorite color scheme for the OS Paramounts. I used to have a blue w/ red speckle one, and it rode like a dream. But I've always loved that tri color!

Nice bike. Looks like it may have been built up from a frameset as the 600EX components are not period correct. Any chance we can get a hi-res pic of that unique upper head tube lug?

I may not be right, but I just had gone through an ordeal with a "Series" Paramount. By "Series," I mean without a number designation. It seems that the bikes marked "series PDG" without the series number as a part of the decal- those are from 1992.

Do a search here-

Seems like it is an Asian built 1992 paramount team. I have been told morethan once this was a rare paint scheme and was a frameset only, didn't come in this paint in any other way. I'm gonna sell it since it's too small for m girlfriend, but thanks for your help everyone!

Bikes: 92 Paramount Series 7 650c, 1984 Bianchi Alloro, 1995 Specialized Stumpjumper Cro-mo

That is a a special version of the Asian built Paramount Series bikes- and the 600 components are correct I think. I had a 92 Series 7 with the same components - but mine had the STI brifters. They are really nice bikes imho - I would have kept mine but mine had 650c wheels and that bugged me.

I put it on eBay today along with an 86 Fuji Club, but this bike is in better condition. Anyhow, feel free to search for it on the bay.
