I want to find a good way to deal with this rust. I have no problem with having a repaint done in the pearl yellow but I need to know of other options. What have you done in the past?

That rust is pretty serious with rust under the paint. Even OA is not going to cure that.

Its bad, But looks worse since it was "touched up" in the past and that paint is lifting.

Strip, blast, prime, paint.

That does look pretty serious. I'd strip the paint and blast the rust to see how much steel is gone before committing to anything. Otherwise, what Shin said.

Next time you touch up, use a rust converter product first as a primer. That will eliminate most of the problem. Even when you think you have removed all of the rust, there is usually plenty of microscopic rust left.
