Rust removal on frame

My newly acquired steel frame has what appears to be only surface rust. I am thinking of using my Dremel rotary equipped with a brass brush to tackle the job. Has anyone else used this method? What else do you guys recommend I use? Thanks

Search is your friend. Rust has been discussed at length many times. To search this forum, its best to use google. In the google search box, just enter: rust site:bikeforums.net

You will get several hundred threads on rust.

As far as a dremel, rarely is anything abrasive a good idea, steel wool, dremel tool, or whatever.
