Tugrul,

It achieves a shorter wheelbase for quick urban riding! I don't know which I like more, the saddle or the bottle cage.

I'm back in Frankfurt, and this beauty caught my eye. Anyone recognize the make/model? It has nicely shaped lugs and an "S" on the seatlug. Cable guide on head tube suggests fairly recent construction. The owner parked it in front of a police station and seems to have tried to mask its identity (though still needs an education on proper locking technique).

One of these days, I'll make a photo essay of bikes parked in Manhattan. It's amazing. It's starting to look like a European city. So heartwarming!

There are old bikes in old shape. There are old bikes in renovated shape. There are bikes that have been very personalized. And so on.

Oh, I just found these pictures I shot at my hometown train station in the summer of 2009.

Here is the whole collection.

Spotted this Peugeot Triathlon at a flea market today. Poor thing looks like it's spent some time underwater, what a mess!

No picture, but I saw a fellow today riding a 21" Raleigh International. It wouldn't have been interesting if it wasn't for the fact that it was black - and had what appeared to be all-original Raleigh markings.

I was stumped for a minute, then I saw the left chainstay.
