question on Alpine Cycle Group frame

I picked one up last night in a decision between this one with rx-100 components, and an old trek with no name components. I've never heard of the brand and i looked it up on google, and searched here with no avail.

Do any of you guys know anything about it? It doesn't look like a cheap bike, and it has really nice geo for a bike of it's time. Any info is appreciated. Thanks

Do you have any pictures? Pictures usually help. Was it the red and white one for sale in the Woodlands/Conroe area?

I'd guess that it's early to mid 90s based on the crankset and the dual pivot brakes. My 1994 Trek 1200 has the same crankset and chainrings. It looks pretty nice. Does it have any tubing stickers?

Found this old thread after searching for info on bike from the curb
Taiwanese lugged steel "CMOLY 5T" sticker. 2x7spd freehub
no SN that I can find will get pics
Dirty but clean needed a seat, tubes , no pedals and L pedal socket stripped
Blue frame with decal similar to the fuzzy pics from 10 yrs ago above
Shimano downtube shifters RX100 groupo
this thread has a mb frame with same stickers
https://forums.mtbr.com/classifieds/...k-1049966.html
If anyone has any info on the bikes provenance, ping me back

I grab these, tune them up and pass them on.
The kids I give them to get them stolen a lot, so it's like giving a bike to 5 kids.
