I'm pretty sure there's a lot more to life than being really, really, ridiculously good looking. And I plan on finding out what that is.

I had to look hard to find a picture of myself with a bike. This is two years ago and I was 70+ at the time. I always have that hard look on my face. I use to intimidate people into letting me win. Original 1987 yellow jersey Cannondale team bike. I was told the bike never got used. It was not allowed under rules of the time.

Whelp, I'm intimidated

I see you're missing a few plastic cable guides there. There are reproductions available here: https://www.shapeways.com/model/60791...s&materialId=6

Sold that yellow one and now ride a Cad/3. I like it a lot better as the back complains when I reached down for those DT shifters.

No bike in the pic, but me in the middle after completing 4 of this years AL Backroads Century Series, and earning a patch. The first 3 centuries 3 were bikes '85 and older. This last one, well is 2002 vintage yet?

Here's a mug of me during the VT Fall classic (in the red and grey jacket):

The guy next to me was in our group, I had met him the day before; four of us drove up together from Boston for the event. What I love about these events is that I always come home having made new friendships.

My wife and I, introducing my boy to water.....1994

And after his first ever 1-mile ocean swim. He was 8.
I was too tired to speak. He said he was hungry.

Almost "too loose" to run the Duke Children's Classic....1987

Same teammates 25 years later after a biathlon we founded.

My wife and I at the finish line of the Seagull Century in Salisbury MD. It was her first century and my first one on a single speed.

The wife at mile 84. She was a little weary, but still smiling big. That is her Synapse and my Giant single speed. Great ride.

Yes, she got comfortable for a few minutes on that stop. The wind picked up on those last 16 too. I love the Castelli bibs, they are my century choice for sure.

Thanks... I thought that since we were sharing our better halves I could do that and she is my favourite riding partner.

We got married in August 0f 2011, I think August 2013 was as significant as this was when my wife became a landed, permanent resident.
