I don't mean to say this is a Gazelle at all. Gazelles are most often seen with a Bocama long point style lug. I was simply using that as an example of the fact that dutch makers don't seem to have a tubing loyalty.

Diamant maybe? Just throwing out a manufacturer that always seemed to have unique characteristics and it's from the right region. I definitely agree with the mid-90's sentiment.

Look down the head and seat tube if you see "rifling", if you do, it's an SLX!

being in the netherlands and having an english bottom bracket could probably point to it being a dutch bike. Being dutch, I would not rule out the tubes being columbus as there does not seem to be a tube loyalty among dutch makers (i.e. the rumored columbus SL seat stays on some Gazelle AA R. 531 framed bikes).
my guess... low-volume, dutch maker. And this is just a guess nothing more.

Don't get to hung up on it being Columbus just because the seller said that it was. He could possibly be mistaken. Unless you get an ID the tubing will likely always be a mystery, an accurate weight would help.

This is a pretty good guess. I have a Duell frame from the 90's that has Columbus tubing and an english Bottom Bracket.

Just check the frame and fork to indentify some characteristics of the tubeset.
I can see that at the fork end of the steerer tube on the inside of the tube looks to be rifled and also shined a flashlight down the seattube and could see there's no obvious seam in the tubing.
Also indentified that i bird was stamped on the tube of the fork aswell as "spinner" was stamped on it.
Maybe this will help to indentify the used tubes.

A well-fed dove stamped into the steerer tube is Columbus' signature; “spinner” doesn't mean anything to me. I think that Columbus rifled the steerer tubes on several different tubesets. If the seat tube has rifling at the lower (thicker) end -- should be able to feel it, or see with flashlight -- then that means the seat tube is SLX tubing. But the bike could be SL as well (earlier), or some later tubeset, considering the arrowhead lugs and vertical rear dropouts. 1962 g is quite light for the frame only. I have a couple Columbus frames, of somewhat larger size, that weigh in the 2000-2100 range. You've done very well!

not a Columbus dove...and Spinner is a Chinese (IIRC) brand of forkends (which you got here) and other bits. I think you have a modern fork here (note the" lawyer's nubs" )
edit: I stand very corrected...Dutch not Chinese! But you know how easy it is to confuse those two nationalities, so it's a common mistake.

Bikes: '72 Bob Jackson; '82 Austro-Daimler Starleicht; '85 Scapin; '80 Peugeot PKN-10; '81 Trek 610; '87 Hunter Corsa; '72 Italvega and '75 Motobecane Grand Jubillee frames built into freewheel singlespeeds.
To the earlier suggestion that it might look like a Bob Jackson, the SN isn't consistent with their numbering, so it ain't a BJ. Other than that, I got nothin'.
Other than to say that it's obviously a high-end frame, and if you have a chance to grabs its 61cm brother for 50 euro, take that chance and run. And then tell me how much you want for it plus shipping, because I ride a 61, and it would fit VERY well in my current stable, which includes a BJ, a Scapin, and an Austro-Daimler.

Bikes: Several, mostly not name brands.
Other tubes on older Columbus frames may also show this stamp; later tubes (early 80s and on) were marked by a graphite electrode instead.
