I copied the cover and uploaded it so it would display here. Here's a link to the cover on the NYer site along with a subscription pitch. This is already last week's issue but I am pretty sure it can be ordered. BTW It's not a bad magazine to subscribe to if you are an effete pretentious would-be elitist.

Just checked The Cartoon Bank, where you can order prints of some NYer covers and cartoons (or even buy the original art for $2K and up). They have quite a selection of covers by this artist, Jean-Jacques Sempe, and it would not surprise me if this one becomes available. Prints start at $125 matted.

I'm searching my bookmarks for a cycling-related website I found a couple of months back...
It had all of the New Yorker covers depicting biking and bicycles from the past 30 years, large sized and available for download.

Jim Langley's site was the one I was thinking of! It totals at fewer than I remembered but they are certainly large enough to display nicely if downloaded. The flickr stream I posted above has tons many others which Jim doesn't have.

Now, that's really not true. The elevation varies from sea level to over 200 feet. I know, that's nothing like your part of PA, but riding in the Pinelands you always have a sense of going uphill or downhill. You don't reach high ridges with endless views, but there are lots of long views over the wetlands and that sort of thing. Don't get me wrong, I really like hills. But I really liked the Pinelands as well.
