I think this one would be considered a Unique / Rare bike that no one else has (if someone does please let me know) There looks to be 2 to be in existence.
a 1988 Centurion Ironman Master Professional has centurion paint scheme but frame built by Zunow (likely rode by Mike Pigg in 1988) The pics are as it was bought in San Diego CA. Undergoing restoration at this time, will be touched up and rebuilt with Dura-Ace 7400 groupset https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...87d5ba028c.jpg https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...51d40054b7.jpg https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...bb770538cd.jpg |
Raleigh Olympic
https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...4da04abb0f.jpg
I have not seen another of these. It is a Raleigh Olympic from the early 1970's. It was purchased in Brabent, Belgium. It has full wrap-around seat stays, chain guard mounting tabs, BSA fork (decaled BSA), Huret derailleurs and wingnuts, Solida cranks, and a serial number beginning with "M". At this moment it is completely apart. |

There are not many Freddie Grubbs around and I have not seen or heard of another Meteor, maybe rotting in a shed somewhere. They said it was 60's or 70's but it was 1955 by its serial number and features.https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...b95473a804.png
Original Auction Details, only the frame was salvageable. https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...be4233f66f.png Brent |
Since nobody has been able to identify this bike, I can assume no one else has one. It was most likely British made in the early 50s.

I know there are others out there , but I have not personally met someone who has one and looked at theirs.

Custom Malagnini
Made by Lucio Malagnini of Verona Italy. Check out the collar-less seat lug with a modified DuraAce seatpost that functions like a quill stem.

Airborne Ti Hag 1993
This is my Airborne Ti Hag Titanium 1993. Has Hope Hubs, Mavic 819 Rims, Brooks B17 Saddle, Avid brakes. Chris King Headset, Surly Forks. Was a single speed mountain bike now converted for road use, hence cheap crank set until I decide what to replace it with. Love it for daily work out.

Looking at it again, I just realized the rear exit on the drop outs. What are those hubs?

ANT frame built around 2014, originally for the grand prize for a raffle at an event. I bought it as a frameset (with its original generic fork and the front rack) for cheap, from a shop that decided to part the bike out after having it sit around for a long time. Originally it was built up as a single-speed with a coaster brake and front caliper, with the front rack and an overall simple setup with mid-level parts. The raffle winner was much too tall to ride it, and took it to a local shop to re-sell to someone who'd be more able to appreciate it, and it just never sold.
I picked it up in 2016 and decided to build it up as a more practical/reliable take on my 1937 Raleigh Tourist, which, while great fun to ride, doesn't have much cargo capacity or ability to stop in wet weather - not to mention all the proprietary parts! Eventually, I decided the looks and handling and a few other details weren't quite what I was after, so I started making some small incremental upgrades, eventually including having a fork made by Royal H Cycles to make it handle more like the Raleigh that the build is based on. Here's a picture of me with it at a recent bike-community event...if only I'd taken off my saddle's rain cover for the picture! https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...7033ed616c.jpg |
