Any idea what tubing it is? SL? SLX? If it's one of those, then snap it up. It looks a little ratty from the detail pics, but I've always been impressed by the workmanship on Olmos. Very under-rated, IMO.

oh one more thing, he said it was a 58cm but the head tube looks way to short to be that size

Bikes: Two wheeled ones

Looks like a 50-51 to me. Likely a great deal for a great bike.

No way it's a 58cm.

Aaron has it right, this one is much smaller than a 58.

Bikes: See my signature

A pearl white quality Olmo is on my grail list. Could be a decent deal - I can't seem to find one listed less than $600 when I'm looking.

Mine's a 59c-c "60 Italian" so that's a small frame.

does the originality factor in THAT much for this bike? it looks like alot of parts were swapped out for dura ace stuff

It easily could have been built that way in the first place.

Very few local racers stuck with Campy for many years.

Better endorsement discounts, great function, and decent durability changed their minds.

Plus it actually shifted and stopped.

Heck, go to a local criterium or stage race. Most of the racers are using SRAM or Shimano.

If the bike came with a complete DA 7400 gruppo, I'd still buy her in a heartbeat if I were you.

Far more importantly, will this bike fit you properly?

...and come to think of it, the nice one I saw this morning sported 7400 series DA.
