SRAM Rival groupset - will it work....

with a 1999 Schwinn Peloton frame? I haven't checked to make certain, but I reckon the dropout width is 130mm. It should be a straightforward install, no?

And another interesting question (PM me if an open reply violates forum rules) - I notice that groupset prices from several European websites (you can probably guess them, since they show up on a Google shopping search) are substantially less than for stateside retailers. Am I missing something here?

You should not have any issues....just make sure you get the correct front derailleur clamp size (or adapter if your using a braze-on)....not a whole lot of 28.6 O.D. seat tubes out there these days. As for your other question, I have never ordered from any of "those" sites, but many, many people here have and do....I have heard many good things about "them"
