Anyone in the Kansas City area available to facilitate? I noticed that someone posted here over a year ago that Velo+ bike shop in the Lenexa area could facilitate. I just called them and the fella referenced in the post (David) no longer works there. They're only willing to box up the bike but not ship it. I was told that the seller would have to drop off the bike, they box it up, then the seller ships it. Not sure if the seller would be willing to do that. Can anyone help or know of another bike shop that will box it up and ship it to the buyer if the seller drops it off? Thanks in advance for any feedback.

IIRC! Bikeflights usually gives the best rates (most times through FedEx) and can also help arrange FedEx pickups at seller or LBS address, so I think the box doesn't always have to be taken to a FedEx Office or shipping center for dropoff. Check with Bikeflights on this. Also, when you arrange shipping, you can prepay it, then send an email with the shipping labels (one of which should be inside the box if possible.

Be sure to get accurate box dimensions and weight for the bikeflights shipping calculations and be sure to get in writing that the LBS can pack to bikeflights' requirements. Any shipping damage and claim is going to depend on that happening correctly.

I know this is kind of a long shot, but is anyone in the SF Bay Area planning to go to North Lake Tahoe anytime soon? I've been watching a bike in gold country, smack dab in the middle of the route, and I wonder if you would be willing to toss it in the truck on your way back to the Bay Area. Let me know and we can work out the details.

Thank you!

Willing to help out in the upper right-hand corner of PA. I'm near Honesdale and Hawley, not far from Narrowsburg and Bethel NY. Used to own a shop, years ago, so I know how to pack and ship. Name's Bill.

I'm willing to help facilitate in western Kentucky and the surrounding areas. I have a couple of bike shops that I would trust to pack a bike up. Either pm or email is fine.

There is a Schwinn Prologue in my size (seller says 25.5" and it looks like a 25") with the killer looking black/grey paint job (my favorite on this bike). It's for sale east of Los Angeles, CA (Pamona--went to a concert out there years ago) and I'm in...Seattle. The price is beyond fantastic, and I'm more than amenable to having the facilitator take all the pieces they want (a ton of value as everything is near pristine) and just ship me the frame, fork, and headset for the ad's asking price plus shipping (less with just a frameset). Would someone in the area be willing to facilitate? I would be immensely appreciative!!!

Is anyone close that could pick a bike up and take it to a bike shop for packing? There's a nice Masi on ebay that, amazingly, will fit me. Small frame Italian bikes aren't that common.

Help?

Can anyone pickup and ship a frame in Seattle? Everything will be paid for in advance.

Even a pick up and drop of at a LBS that you know that ships well would be helpful.

Thanks!
