Is anyone in Atlanta, GA? Saw a frame/fork/wheel combo that I'd be interested in getting boxed up and sent to Detroit.

Also, the used bike market in Detroit is terrible, and I don't own a car (public transportation 4tw), but I'll try to help where I can.

Im covered up with a major home remodel that sucking up my free time but if its close to me (North of Atlanta) Might be able to help a Home town boy. ( grew up in Troy, went to Troy Union and Larson lived in East Long Lake Estates)

I dont have or want paypal so getting me the shipping money might be the problem.

Many MANY thanks to member KonAaron Snake !

I just wanted to post publicly a huge "Thanks" to Kon Aaron Snake for facilitating a purchase for me.

Not only did he make contact super fast after I posted my request, but got right on a CL post and already has the antique Mead Ranger heading my way ! The whole deal has been perfectly smooth. Then, after the fact, I find out he has a broken leg ! That is way above and beyond in my book. I only hope I can do as well when it's my turn to help him or someone else out. I am ever grateful to Aaron and also the existence of this Forum that a deal like this could be completed.

Cheers,

Joe

Bikes: Two wheeled ones

Joe - you were gracious, easy to deal with and it was my pleasure to assist. It's good for me to move around more now anyway. I'm actually going to post a thread about the whole experience later today...it had some, shall we say odd, coincidences. I think it will make a great story.

Suffice it to say, I had a lot of fun getting the bike and it was hardly a burden. The bike itself is a beauty - my only regret is not getting it for myself

Thanks - the seller was sort of rude and I don't need it that badly. Appreciate the offer!

Well, I don't see a lot of people from the DC area posting, so thought I'd post. I don't have experience shipping an entire bike, but have some bike shop friends, so can figure it out.

SF Bay Area Craigslist Help

Hi everyone! I'm looking for a new bike to ride, have found one that I'd be happy with. The CL ad says it's in the Market District of SF. I'm able to fly in, but if someone would be willing/able to pick it up and ship it for me I'd be forever grateful.

Shoot me a PM, or email me Dkopite3 @ gmail.com

Thanks,
DKop3
