Merckx Serial# Database pre 80s?
I am having trouble finding pre 80s serial #s. The more searching I do, the more I believe I do not have a Merckx. But a nice bike nonetheless. Does the # HTR320 strike a familiarity with any other manufacturer?

Yes but there were quite a number of manufacturers who licensed the Merckx name in the 1970s or those who built for the Team or built Team replicas...
It would be a good idea to make a list – I'll start:
