Rod Brake Question - Need Some Help

Hi all - took my DL-1 (the '70) out for a spin this past weekend, and noticed a brake problem that gradually got worse. Right at the first pivot on the handlebars, the rear brake rod seems to have a loose connection. I can't see any clear way to adjust or tighten this. Any advise? Thanks in advance. Here's a video of what I'm talking about

Looks like the rod end is bad. I wonder if Harris Cyclery would have replacement parts?

I believe there should be a nut on the other side of the linkage you show in the video. What's on there now?

there's no nut - it's just a rounded ball with what looks like a pin coming through just to the edge of the ball...(but that pin is not threaded)

Got it - unscrewed the nut that holds the lower portion onto the lower rod, twisted this top one and it somehow tightened up - it must have a small amount of thread? All is tight again
