I realize the true spirit of this forum is bikes from the '70s (ish) and earlier preferable with fenders and made in England or France LOL.
IMHO I define classic as anything older than '84-'85ish as that starts the Aero brake and index shifting era. (es I know there were 'some' earlier brakes and index systems but this is about when they became "standard")
bike in the '85 to '94 era are what I refer to as Nouvo (or Neo) Classics. as they still retain DT shifters and are predominently made of steel
