Basta Automatic cuff lock help

I got a nice Peugeot folder that had this lock on it, and it was unlocked, and of course I poked at it and locked it and now it wont come undone. the reflector seems to be the key, anybody know how to open this thing?

There's no hole or anything for a pick to release it? Not on top? Or on the underside?

No idea -- however, the company does stlll exist and they've got manuals for their newer locks online: https://axa-basta.nl/index.html

If that's not helpful, you might try writing to them with your problem?

Good luck!

Cut it off , The metal in the bail is fairly soft, hacksaw, you can buy a replacement still all metal from Velo Orange,
Or a nicer one, Clever cycles has AXA and Abus ring-locks, a chain that also locks around stuff,
then a pin locks into the side of the ring-lock.

I think you move the reflector up and down, and back and forth in a sequence to open it. They arent too difficult to crack.
