IIRC, they're asking $250. I'll run by tomorrow on my way back from the Handmade Bicycle Show.

Damn...you...to...H..E..double hockey sticks.

My first ten speed was a pearl orange Le Tour III, and that frame would go perfect with my collection of NR parts.

Of course, I'd never take that bike out of the house. I'd probably keep it inside, directly above the fireplace. Golly, that's pretty!

Not worth it for a dented frame.

Yeah- although I misremembered. It's $225. I just took a closer look. Serial number C1708 (I think- I should have written it down.)

The chrome is intact, but not smooth. It looks like it got some surface rust and then tried to rescue it. Sections have been reduced to a matte finish. There's still some rust around the lugs and bottom bracket (although there's remnants of red pinstriping).

There's two dents in the top tube. Neither is hopeless, but one (it looks like handlebar strike) is deep enough to crack the chrome.

Kurt- you're right. It's not worth it. It's not a basket case and is ridable as is, but it's overpriced. Too bad.

I thought this pictures also go along with the title of the thread. Sorry about the low quality.
