If you want to read something funny just take a look at what I've just posted to ebay. If I do say so myself, this is one brutally honest ebay listing:

It will be interesting what you get on this auction. I would think it would go really low, as the hurdle of shipping makes the price unattractive. But lets see, as I have some similar condition frames hanging around right now myself.

+1 To the below: I almost always use a flat rate, fixed shipping charge, but I have been burned a couple of times doing so (buyer was in CA, ouch). And then the buyers that live close tend to pay too much, and some will score you low because of it (ebay's 5 point scoring system). If you are an occasional seller, the 5 point stuff does not matter. But if you want to maintain "top rated power seller" status, you have to keep a high score. Why does that matter? Ebay gives top rated power sellers a 20% discount on final auction fees.

Lately, I have started using ebay's shipping calculator.

Well like I said in the item description the difference between actual shipping and the $40 will be refunded. But of course you don't see that unless you look at the item description, do you? Ill-conceived I guess. I just don't want to get burned on shipping like I have before. It's only happened once but in that instance the actual shipping tuned out so much higher that I lost money. :-)
