OMAS headset

I've never heard of one. Are they any good?

I did some searching for them a while back and I think the general consensus was they are pretty good but the aluminum is soft. I believe they came stock on a good amount of 80's Cannondales.

Bikes: Upright and Recumbent....too many to list, mostly Vintage.

There was one on my Team Miyata when I bought it....it was good enough for the Kopp's Cycling team.

As far as I am concerned they were the best high end headset available in the early 80's, at least on a par with a Campagnolo Super Record and weighing less. I have them fitted to a few of my bikes.
