I like "hellenic" stayed bikes, what length of top tube does it have? Nice to know shogun made a model like this, I was not informed.

That seat post is worth a mint on Ebay. Selling it, might pay for the whole frame. A lot of guys use it to correct difficult fit problems. Those stems are expensive too.
You are right about the Look seatpost and stem. However both are pretty specific to the bike. 25mm seatposts are few and far between and I don't there is any substitute for the stem.

I am on the road and do not have pic capability til Turkey day......aweek ago I bought a Peugeot that I suspect is a PX10, Stronglight cranks, integrated hanger, Normandy hubs, 531 decal towards the top of the down tube...................

Brifters to come?

If I were you, I wait and nab a set of new Ultegra (5700) brifters and a 10s cassette. You can use everything else you already have. Maybe change the FD for optimal shifting, but you know...

Okay, I'll play along. Though, this is really pushing what is and isn't C&V :) But hey, it's steel, so maybe it can be here.

It's a custom Paul Taylor made from True Temper S3 steel. I bought it to steal the groupset, but fell in love with the bike after one ride. So, I'm still stealing the groupset and putting a Dura-Ace 7700 groupset onto it that I have.

Wow, you got it! and you did well! What a find, I used to dream of finding a complete c-record group on a mint bike like that, but these days I couldn't bare to let a bike in my stable go to make room for it. Still that is an incredible score and local too. Congrats!

though it has some tiny dents in the DT and one of the barrel adjusted was knocks off by the blaster and brazed back on by an amateur very crooked with a hideous blob, not that noticeable and I plan to ride it a lot so I will live, of course I wasn't aware of the defects when I purchased it, but it shouldn't affect the ride and the ride of high performance steel is what I am after.

A Bringheli frame jig and an alignment table, both shipped FedEx ground today. I'll take some photos when they get here, but the jig is identical to this one.
