Yep.

I finally added one myself.

Choose a cool pic.

Put it on your desktop.

Go to settings, and then edit avatar.

Select your cool pic from "your" computer. I think open is the correct keystroke.

That's pretty much it.

Success!

Mine is one of my drillium bits - a Colnago motif. Since I love Drillium and Colnagos equally, what better way to proclaim that love?

- Gomango: I like yours; that's going to be my next car (I want something I can work on from start to finish and not need a computer to figure out what the problem is). What year?

Just for a change, my avatar is usually Raleigh related.

Mine is the photo I took of my Centurionelli seatlug, mostly because it's one of the nicest pics I have taken of a cycle-related topic.

One of my dogs, Maggie. I think the pic really captures her uncanny expressiveness. Also I really dig mugshots, and it's not easy to get so square on a fidgety herder.

Hi Chris and DD!

Yes, we do have a Verona red 1972 BMW 2002.

It has all of the correct body markings, including tail lights, but the engine is suspicious at best!

Just about zero body rust, which is a miracle.

We picked it up from a good friend that has two BMWs.

A 1996 BMW M-3 and a recent 5'er wagon.

I have been sucked into the never never land of sports cars since I was in high school, and it won't stop anytime soon.

The best part is we now have a heated storage area to work on the cars, as well as a huge space for bikes as well.

When we returned home from the Red Barn CX race today, my buddy Bob picked me up in his new toy, a BMW Z-8! Scared the c... out of me.

Again, the pic in the avatar is not mine, although I'll get a pic up of ours next time I visit the warehouse.

My grandson JJ. I bought him his first 12" bike with training wheels when he was about 3 1/2. He was a scary daredevil but I noticed he was relying on the training wheels too much to get the sense of balance so I bought him a Skuut, one of those wooden Euro push bikes. He got it immediately. It wasn't a couple of weeks before he asked 'Opa' to take the "little wheels" off his other bike. The pic is him riding his bike sans the "little wheels" when we went for our first serious ride together. I'm happy because I feel I may have encouraged a rider-for-life. He loves it. His 5th birthday is in a couple of days and I am buying him a new 16" bike. I'm pretty sure he will be stoked and demand that we go riding together again. That would be just fine by me.

Sheer ego. It's me - and the other side of my life. The side where you don't ride a bicycle. You ride something bigger. And the guys you ride with are often a lot more interesting. This was my earlier avatar (and it'll probably be back):

While the current one is the other reason I ride, and the older reason. I'm still a Rocker, and have been one for 35 years:
