"Classic & Vintage" + "Nintendo" = "Does Not Compute."

Or, if you prefer, "Bad command or file name."

There is a super expensive program called Real Axion Bicycle Trainer. If money is not a factor, it seems pretty cool. It monitors wattage output, and links via a PC with HD videos of famous races and courses such as Alp d'Huez so you can train as if you were in a simulated race. That said, I hate indoor trainers. I'd rather ride in the rain.

Bikes: 1995 Trek 520 is the current primary bike.

When I read the thread title I thought this was going to be about wooden drum rollers.

Edit: like these:

From what I could tell by some quick Googling, it was a specially modified NES that connected to a magnetic trainer. Considering I could find few pictures other than that screenshot and a picture of the cartridge, it's pretty rare.

Yes its absolutely for real. It measures power, Cadence, it changes reisistence based on grade and even drafting! The graphics run off a nintendo and the trainer plugs into it. I do time trials and interval training on it, we actually have about 6 of these sets set up in one room ( 2 people) on each it can get pretty competitive. The company that makes it is Computrainer they have newer models that hook up to a pc. https://www.racermateinc.com/computrainer.asp

Yeah this company that made this unit has updated versions https://www.racermateinc.com/computrainer.asp And I agree about indoor training, as I said in my other post we have a whole bunch of these and a grioup of us do it, it gets very competitive (makes it kind of fun) and I honestly get pushed much harder indoors than I do out. Still with you on riding oin the road nothing ius better.

I prefer to just listen to the vintage tunes that come out of my 21st Century music phone.

Does the game play an 8-bit version of Kraftwerk's Tour De France?
