1997 Performance Picaro?
I just acquired a Performance house brand Titanium frame. Very nice welds and the frame looks great overall. It was apparently called a "Picaro" according to Bikepedia.
There weren't many companies making Ti frames in 1997. Any idea who might have made this one? I know Lynskey made some house branded frames for Performance a couple years ago, is it possible Litespeed had a hand in this one? Merlin? Someone else?
As always, thank you.

Fourteen years later...
I came across your post doing a search on my Performance Picaro Ti. My wife bought mine for me for my 50th birthday in 1997 and I'm still riding it today. The frame looks the same as new. I was recently looking at a Lightspeed, same vintage, and all the angles and welds looked identical, right down to the headset and seat post clamp. I remember paying $1700! I hope you enjoyed yours.
