1985 Team Fuji measurements needed
I have a 85 Team Fuji frameset that came with no components. Redoing the bike is going to be my winter project. I don't own calipers and need to know what diameter seat post, and what size clamp I need for the front derailleur.
The bike came OEM with a Sugino Mighty SP-KC seat post and Sun Tour Superbe derailleurs.
Any help is appreciated.

The seat post on my 85 Team says "26.4". I'm not sure if it's original, but it fits perfectly.

If we are speculating, Sheldon's seat post database has a 1985 Fuji League at 26.8mm. Both are quad butted Valite frames for what it's worth, with Sugino SP-KC posts, though not Mighty for the League.

I have the same bike in original configuration. Actual measurement of SP-KC seat post = 26.54 . Actual measurement of seat tube = 28.7 . The Superbe derailleur is an endless band type mount. Hope this helps.

Confirmed, my seatpost @ 26.4 is NOT original, but it fits perfectly. I'll bet it was 26.6, and the previous owner changed it.

You gonna eat that?
A tip: They don't always mark down the prices in the store to the internet prices, but if you print out the prices from their website, they will honor them (at least at the HF I go to).

I have the exact same frameset, 85 Team in blue and yellow.
The seatpost I currently use is 26.6 mm and it fits perfectly. I also tried 26.8 mm but the post would not go into the seat tube.
The seat tube diameter is the common 28.6 mm as other indicated.
What kind of shifter are you using on the single aero-shifter braze-on?

I am trying to get 7 speed index working on mine. The most elegant route seems to be using one of these adapters:

But I have not found one on ebay for the past year.
