Saw this unfamiliar bike this weekend.

The fork crown area is most interesting part. While I know the name Coppi of course, I've never seen that brand displayed that way.

The rest of the lugwork doesn't look terribly distinguished to my untrained eye.

Can anyone shed any light on this "Coppi" tag?

I believe Coppis were made by Fiorelli, at least the 70s one I have was. That looks like an older one that was maybe updated?

It's a Fiorelli, and from the early 60's. It's been "updated" with cable guides and really unattractive paint. In the long run probably not worth the money it would take to put it "right". Those fork crowns are pretty cool though, and look nice from the top while you're riding.

I had a ladies coppi All the bells and whistles Shirt gard on the rear fender enclosed chain case internal wireing rear tail light on fender lights up original streamers still on the grips. About a 60s Very poor workmenship. I gave it away, now when I drop by my buddies place I see it laying around the yard rusting.

I just picked up a 60 Fiorelli tandem. It's a low-end bike but is oozing with art-deco coolness. I am really looking forward to the project.
