Huret mastered the use of stamped steel plates early on... the Svelto is the predecessor to the Jubilee.

Bikes: 25 at last count. One day I'll make a list

Though not on the level of those beautiful derails from previous pages, I still find this dirty, rusty workhorse to be a favorite partner.
Like my old Dan Wesson .357 vs. my Ruger Super .44 it don't care if it's pretty, it just wants to be used.... and it never fails me!

Bikes: 2022 Soma Fog Cutter, 2021 Calfee Draqonfly 44, 1984 Peter Mooney, 2017 Soma Stanyan, 1990 Fuji Ace, 1990 Bridgestone RB-1, 1995 Independent Fabrications Track, 2003 Calfee Dragonfly Pro

Not any more. While in college, I saved up all summer to buy a Masi that had the 50th Anniversary group. I owned that bike for about 5 days before it was stolen...

Bikes: See my sig...

The rarest derailleur I own... Simplex JUY 543

This is a better looking example... I am sure it lives in a collector's display case.

Campagnolo 980 - and you can date this with the best accuracy ever: the 980 is said to mean 9th month (September) of 1980, when it was introduced.

Zombie Thread ALERT!!! OK I do not recall how DrilliumDude and I hatched this plan but here is the result of my sending him a Chorus RD to try his handy work on.
