Have:
56cm Centurion Ironman frameset, Expert white "straight fade" to green, sort of a darker seafoam.
27.2 seat tube. 56cm x 56cm, English threaded BB. Comes with headset installed and seatpost binder bolt.

Looking for:
56cm Centurion Ironman frameset, 85 or 86. If an '86, prefer red/white, but will consider others.

EDIT: Deal made.

HAVE: Early 80's Falcon Triathlon 600 f/f. White, full 531 tubing, gipiemme dropouts. Most of the decals have been pulled off, starting to get surface rust on cable guides. Excellent candidate for restoration or use it as for a foul-weather bike, no dents. Includes shimano BB (unknown grade) and Tange Levin headset. 54cm ctc seattube, 56cm ctc top tube, 31" standover height. 700c wheels.

ISO:
Ideally, a 60cm+ Schwinn touring frame, Voyageur, Voyageur SP, Passage. OR Schwinn Cimarron frame
Realistically, anything 60cm+ that strikes me right.

Bikes: 1940s Fothergill, 1959 Allegro Special, 1963? Claud Butler Olympic Sprint, Lambert 'Clubman', 1974 Fuji "the Ace", 1976 Holdsworth 650b conversion rando bike, 1983 Trek 720 tourer, 1984 Counterpoint Opus II, 1993 Basso Gap, 2010 Downtube 8h, and...

I Have: ca 1975 Motobecane Grand Jubilee, silver with red, 531 "3 tubes renforces decal." Paint is quite good. 63 cm c-t seat tube, 59 cm c-c top tube.

I would trade this frame (with appropriate parts) for something a little smaller, like a 61 cm seat tube.

rhm-- what do you think of the 62x55 Shogun 600 (Tange 900) further up on this page? I'm in New Haven.

Bikes: Two wheeled ones

Have - 52cm ST, 54cm TT Team Miyata, 1986. Pretty good overall condition, not perfect. There are photos of it around BF.
Want - 55/56cm Team Miyata, though I'd consider other offers.

I'd prefer frame/fork only trades.

Bikes: Colnago Super, Fuji Opus III, Specialized Rockhopper, Specialized Sirrus (road)

83 Fuji Opus III

My 55cm 83 Fuji Opus III frame is available for sale or trade. It fits me, I'm just looking for something different.

Top tube: 55cm
Seat tube: 53cm
Dropouts: Superbe Pro

Available as a module with any combination of the following:

Headset: Hatta Swan
Seat Post: Brand new Thomson Elite setback seat post
Shifters: Suntour Superbe Pro
Front Derailleur: Suntour Superbe Pro clamp on

Included equipment negotiable.

No dents or dings. No rust. The frame is straight. The paint is about a 7/10 since there are some small chips here and there.

I'm looking for:

- road framesets in the 54-56cm range, any material, vintage or modern. Something like a 56cm Cannondale CAAD 8 would be ideal.
- Sram road components, particularly shifters and rear derailleur(s)
- any other brand of 8 -10s road components
- wheels, clincher or tubular, 8-10s freehub
- hubsets (8-10s freehub)
- other. If interested, make offer.

Bikes: 11 steel, 1 scandium, 1 carbon

Greetings...
I have a 1989 or '90 Miyata 1000LT 57cm ctt seat tube and 57cm ctc top tube, 130mm rear spacing..
I would like to trade bare frames for another 1000 or 1000LT in 59cm. Vintage isn't important. Value for condition is negotiable for better or worse. I'm fine with a trade needing paint and decals, but want to avoid crashed or rusted.
Condition of mine is good with no rust, normal scattered wear on paint and decals. I have none of the original parts except for seatpost and headset. One small issue: the top and bottom of the chain stays have been flattened a bit, presumably by someone clamping on a kick stand. I don't know of a good way to fix this, but it is fine structurally with no gaps around the bottom bracket shell where the stays are brazed. Nice and straight in all ways otherwise.
I'll try to post some photos when I get home in the next couple of days.
Happy Trails

This is a feeler, because I'm not sure anyone would be interested in swapping for a non-vintage bike. I have a 2006 Fuji Roubaix RC size is 56cm and it doesn't fit me. It's an aluminum frame with carbon seat stays and carbon fork. I would include the headset and seat post clamp in the trade.

I'm looking for a more modern steel frameset (e.g., tange prestige, reynolds 853, true temper ox) with a 57c ctc top tube and 73degree angles. A tallish headtube would be a bonus.

Let me know if you're interested in the Fuji.

I have a 54x54 Tomassini Prestige. It was an impulse buy at a local bikeshop, but doesn't fit me. No dents I can detect except the chainstays have been flattened a bit near the BB. The paint job is pretty shot. I'd love to trade it for something in a 57cm, not Italian (unless its a Legnano).

I've got this:

1983 serial number, 57 ctc square, 126mm rear. Restored - including chrome - back in 2004.

Looking for: similar vintage, condition, size and value. A De Rosa or Masi you have kicking around that you have no use for would be a right nice deal

This fits me - just doesn't "do it" for me.

Thanks!

DD

Early Austro Daimler / Puch

Model SE. Early Steyr-Daimler-Puch frame, probably imported to the US under the Austro Daimler brand.

Bottom bracket to seat tube top measures @ 21", which makes this @ a 52cm frame, which is too small for me.

Original Suntour parts, missing front derailleur, which makes it a 5 speed for now. Original brakes. ITM handlebars. Unknown bare chrome fork. Cheapo plastic pedals.

Looking to trade someone in the NYC area for a ridable lugged steel bike of equal quality in a size 58-61cm.

Yep, yesterday. CL brings some "interesting" stuff, but keeping it local is always easier if possible.

Too small for me, or I'd be gathering pennies.

I've got a 58cm Cross Check that doesn't fit me quite right. It's too large. I need something around 54 or 56, and would like to get my grubby mitts on a LHT. This 'check is Beef Gravy with a red King headset and a campy mirage crank that I would leave on 'er to sweeten.
