I'll try this one again pre Westminster:

57cm square 10th Anniversary Eddy Merckx frame and fork. Chrome has some issues; there's a bit of cable housing stuck in the back cable run thru I really have not tried to get out yet. No dents or dings; frame is perfectly straight.

I would like to trade this for something interesting/similar in or about 62cm. Your chance to unload that way too big frame you can't sell, here's a sucker with long legs and a tiny Merckx.

I'll be at the Westminster swap in a few short weeks and would love to do an exchange there, a lot easier.

There is a full battery of photos here, exposing the frame's paint and chrome issues:

https://s872.beta.photobucket.com/use...96680726521956

Thanks!

Does anyone have anything interesting (with decent paint) in 59 or 60cm? Maybe something different like Oria, True Temper Columbus Thron, or even a newer Dedaccia tubing? I may even consider a similar quality tall Mixte.

This is a 87 Mondiale wearing the unique "Metallic Celeste" paint. SL/SP throughout, but I put SL labels on it, and chromed under the paint. It is unfortunately only 57 C2T, 56 C2C and 56 C2C TT with a stand over of 32" as it currently sits. Italian BB and roughly 126 spacing.

There are additional pics here https://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...ondiale+Athena

Pedaltraveler,

I might have a serviceable, if not exactly beautiful Peugeot frame that might work for you. Just an 80's P8 though.

Looks like an 83 to me? Straight block letter DT decal, color, and frame construction gives it away. I had the mens version of this frame, and it was an all around great bike. I added a 70's Continental chrome fork cap, and it made the bike look WAY better.,,,BD

Hi, I might be interested, what size is it? I'm not necessarily looking for another french frame, just something that fits right.

They called it 21" so it's probably in the 53-54cm range.

89 De Rosa Pro - Columbus SLX

I have a 56cm x 56cm De Rosa Pro from 88 or 89 that I absolutely adore, the more I ride it though the more I just feel like it's a hair too small. It's in good, original condition with some nicks and scratches in the paint. Definitely not a show bike but overall very good, and absolutley no dents, dings or bends.

I'd be interested in trading it for something with a 58cm or 59cm (C t C) seat tube, preferably with a 57 or 56 top tube. I'm looking for something of equal or higher quality, would be happy to throw in some money for the right frame. Would love another De Rosa but would also be interested in a Masi, Merckx, Serotta, etc. Let me know if you've got anything interesting!

I have an off topic GT Cyclocross frame with 57cm top tube and seat tube and would like to find a 55cm similar frame . Local gets priority.

Not sure if you are interested but I have a lugged Bruce Gordon Chinook that is a 57cm x 57cm (I think) made with Columbus SL tubing from around 87. Needs a paint job though. I can get some pictures up if you are interested. I was thinking about putting it up here anyway. I think it has a Campy headset and I can include a extra long bontrager seatpost too.

The frame really doesnt fit... for trade a 24" junior road bike, unfortunately it has been repainted (seems like powdercoat?) so I dont know the maker, it has a round drain hole in BB and 2 horizontal headbadge holes. I just had to save it, but dont have a use myself. I have the parts shown as well if you are interested. If you have any questions please ask. Will trade for parts or a frame, just let me know if you are interested and Im sure we can work something out.
