Beautiful combination of color and components!! Now replace that seat clamp bolt with a nice shiny new one!

Seach eBay....Le Jeune. Note the space. Greg Softley made these at my instigation.

I'm a retrogrouch if there ever was one and I should hate it but I don't. I love it! You've got me thinking that I need a modernized French bike for my collection.

Holden McNeil is right about that seat clamp bolt, but I'm sure you were planning to replace it.

Thanks Lynn! He's who I got the 531 decals from, oddly enough. Seems like a cool guy.

Thank you for the kind words! I actually wasn't going to replace that bolt, but I suppose I will now. It's the only thing on the bike that looks like crap!

I never thought I'd modernize an old French bike either, but after trying to piece together older groupsets and realizing it probably would ride better with new stuff, I pulled the trigger and never looked back. I still have some minor issues to work out, like finding a shorter spindle for the BB, but it's almost there. I just got back from a ride and I love the ride, even more than before. It's a keeper.
