Finally a workable Peugeot copy... This font is really hard to replicate... Depending on our browser you may have to click on it many times to get it to its full resolution...

Here is another GettoCal - Motobcane - Not even close to the official font but a good test just the same - You may have to click on it a few times to see it in its real resolution - Made for a 10"x3" bumper sticker...

Sure would like to find a font more like the real one...

The work you are doing, I would like to say that I appreciate it vary much. I have been collecting french parts here and there waiting for a deal on a french bike to pop up. Those that I have seen go buy are pretty messed up, so these decals are going to be in my project when I get the frame.

Ya can't beat the professional decals but on my home brewed franken bikes with rattle can paint the GettoCals do just fine - Here are some simplified instructions for printing a GettoCal...

Click on the image several times to get it to its highest resolution then right click and save a copy to your computer (If you can't get it let me know and I will e-mail it to ya)

Open up the file with GIMP or Photo shop and change colors or contrast as you want then save it without any compression (remember I already have most of mine set to a format of about 10"x3" which is a regular bumper sticker)

Upload the image to a bumper sticker printer - I like the vinyl bumper stickers cause they are cheap and very durable - There are many bumper sticker printers that can do this - I use Buildasign but any will do a pretty good job

Just getting around to cleaning up some files on my hard drive and ran across a memo about this thread. Man, I'd love to get some super high resolution scans of these Peugeot pages to clean up into Illustrator vector files. If you'd be willing to share, I will post them to the group I started for bike decals.

I just added a 600 ppi scan of this to my flickr account.



I'll be cleaning up a vector graphic and adding it to the bike decal group soon, along with a Falcon head badge.

Thank you Zandoval, the idea was what I needed for so many different reasons. Bought a Nashbar frame to mount a RED group on and needed something for the frame, SRAM mottos and logos with my own twist. The bumper stickers for the "motto" and I.D. with frog stickers, still looking for more. This is more fun then serious and I'm not looking to do a restoration, just have fun. When I get bored with this I can strip the stickers, clean the frame and start over.

Was working on some decals for a PX-10 Frankenpeu when all stopped due to our Bastrop Tx Forest Fires - Its been a year now and I have finally had the time to finish them - And start on the bike which is going to be painted engine block white - The cals are in .svg format so I can't load them to the forum - Here is a pic of the icons - Let me know if you want to use them and I'll send them to you via message - I also have .jpeg files but these are not vectorised and are very large files - Again these are for posting to a vinyl bumper sticker printer 10"x3" in .svg format and the image below is a screen shot of the icons - I made them using Inkscape, Gimp, and Qcad so they are not exact but pretty close...

Going to paint the Bike Engine Block White so I decided to go to a Grey-scale layout to the printer....

Nice - Are you printing these yourself or sending them off - I post the images to a printer company like buildasign.com to be printed on bumper sticker vinyl...

I print them myself, I only design sets as I need them. Papillo makes vinyl outdoor grade home printer paper and that is what I use. I will try and dig up some previous ones for people in this thread though.
