Beautiful Superbe! And I commend your use of a friction shifter mounted to the top tube. Looks great and easy to use. I really want to try that now.

Only non-original bits are the tires, tubes, brake pads, and brake cables; pedals were also swapped out for post-'73 Union-made Raleigh rubberblocks.

It's remarkable to find those top tube levers intact as the plastic they're made from seems to have been inspired by Simplex Delrin.

Cables are originals as well, and work flawlessly, hence why we're leaving them in for the meantime.

Is that an original AW hub? I don't have any pre-1969 catalogs to know what the Superbe was running at the time. I know the '64s were a very interesting, two-tone example with green metallic Bluemels fenders; worked on one once. I've never seen one photographed online.
