Is this fork...

Bent?

I'm still far from pro at this.

I'm curious

Doesn't appear so to me; but the saddle position - that's another thing entirely.

That's a pretty manly gear you have there.

Oh it's not mine and while it is flat around here I don't have the legs for that gearing. Thanks for the reassurance's though I couldn't quite tell.

It is a tough cal, but the fork could be tweeked a bit. Then again, it could be the barrel effect commonly found in digital pictures, that I take, at least.

Let's see a dead on shot from the front, offering detail as to how the front wheel splits the fork blades. An uneven split might indicate problems, either wheel or fork related.

If you want to learn a bit more about inspecting frame and fork set, take a moment to have a peek at what little I know about the subject.

Hope this is a help.

I have a ratty little Gitane TdF I'm reviving. I walked around the fork on it for weeks before I decided it needed some help. It looked about the same as yours.

I took in to get a pro look at it and it was bent rearward a few degrees. He laid hands on it and the corrective result is visible.

I'll be the contrarian; yours looks just the tiniest out whack to me.......in this picture.

I don't think the rider gets to sit much.

No, the link is there - post number 7. But, here you go again and I do hope it is a help. How To Inspect Frame and Fork Sets for Damage.

You will have to click through a few pages to find the information pertaining to the OP concern.
