Suzue Juno Sky Road hubs / 83 Centurion Turbo
I've come across these today on an 83 Centurion Turbo. What's the back story on these hubs, Google turns up VERY little in the way of information on them. Very unique name, just curious. Couldn't get a quality pic with my beater camera, will try tomorrow in daylight after my nice camera battery has charged.

geez, I want a japanese bike.
that nishiki looks so nice too. maybe you could've made it work with longer cranks, a longer stem, and higher seatpost?
oh well haha

Zombie thread revival....

I'm also looking for more info on these hubs....Suzue Juno "30" small flange hubset. They have the look of late 70s style hubs. These have the black oil hole bands like Campy Record and other higher end offerings of the time.
They also have a satin anodized finish.
How are these quality wise?
I retrieved these from the pair of 27" wheels that Irv gave me. The wheels suffered extensive neglect and couldn't be saved. Spokes appear to be chromed, and were completely rusted. But the wheels showed evidence of being well made and not entry level. They look a lot like the OP's wheels from his Centurion....with Araya red label 27x1 box rims.
Note:
My set aren't "Sky Road", but "3 0"... that's what is stamped beneath JUNO.
Here's a pic, since we all love pics!

interesting.. I have an older wheelset with suzue hubs, and the araya 27x1 1/4 alloy rims.. I think I might have to go take a closer look.
