Stem shifter question.....

Has any tried to adapt Shimano indexed DT levers to a stem shifter bracket?

I've not tried it, but I can't see why it wouldn't work. I know Shimano made indexed stem shifters.

I have 6 speed indexed light action stem shifters on my daughter's bike. Not the prettiest things, but functional
