A case of the blues
I built this Tesch 101 up in 1988. Sold it in 2003 or 2004, can't remember now. If it fit me right I would have kept it but needed the money.

For a long time I had thought about getting another one.
It showed up late last week. And it's the right size.

The shade of blue is different between the original one I had and this frame. The blue in the new frame almost perfectly matches the Gios/Colnago blue.
Now I'll have to figure out what to build it up with.
Stoked.

First of all, congratulations.
I think this is one of those happy moments when you are able to go home again.
We all have those bikes that we loved at one point, and they slipped through our fingers for whatever reason.
There are so many ways to build this beauty.
Here's a recent reference point or two you may find helpful:

I know when I build my Tesch, which is in a riding buddies' possession, it will be built with DA 7400 series.
I wouldn't consider any other gruppo.
