Bikes: "Wizard" Made in Hungary ladies cruiser. Age unknown. Possibly quite old. Steve Bauer sort of a mountian bike 18spd, 5spd Venture Caprice, '74 (I think) Triumph Single Speed and a stack of frames, bits and pieces.

Yesterday I was given a Triumph ladies 1 speed. It's blue with a blue and white seat and small white grips. I don't think it was originally a 3 speed but I ran across a picture of a '71 3 speed with the same colours. The wheels are 26".

Anyone know how to date this bike? It has bike licence stickers (Burnaby BC Canada) from '74 & '75. It's also got a decal from Fred Deeley Cycles.

It's a nice bike and I rode it to work today. Had to. Someone swiped the back wheel off my Bauer 18 speed!

I don't know if it has the original hub, but SA hubs have a stamped date on them, a few were sold with 1 speed coaster hubs, don't know anything about those. It is a Raleigh built bike, the same as a Raleigh, Rudge, BSA Sports etc, but without the fancy headbadge. The design lives on in denmark and Holland ( sold only as a Raleigh) and are quite common there and in other civilized nations where people actually use bicycles as transportation

if you what some info on these bikes

also see the oldroads.com forums if you have questions about the bike or need parts.
