More wild 80's Paint-87 Cannondale SR 500 with "Custom Graphics"
Thought I would post a few pics of my recently acquired 1987 Cannondale SR 500 with factory applied "custom graphics" airbrush work, even signed by the painter. I found this at a local antique mall last Thanksgiving, finally made an offer a couple of weeks ago. I thought this was some work done by a previous owner, but after looking at the catalogs, this was available as a factory option!

I commuted, to and from work, for a full year on a similar Cannondale Team Comp. Very similar graphics...

Very user friendly bicycle with a comfortable ride, although I did find it to be quite harsh on some of Thunder Bay's more challenging goat paths.

I commuted on it Thursday (30 miles RT), I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable it was. Maybe the combination of 25c tires and the steel fork help relieve some of the harshness, I think this one will remain in the fleet.
