Help ID'ing a frame. X post

Sorry to cross post but was told to head over from the general forum.
I just picked this up and am trying to figure out the make and model of this frame. It's a steel lugged frame. 1 1/8th head tube. Eyelets on rear and front fork. It has a cutout on the bottom bracket that looks like the letter Y to me but to my buddy it looks like a heart. There are the letters LS on the left side of the head tube lug and 74 and 60 on the other side. No other markings on the dropout. Oh yeah, the cool thing is it has an internal cable routing on the top tube.

I've been told this could be a production frame but not sure by who.

Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

don't know what the BB cutout could mean (looks just a little like the Tomassini "T", but not quite), but the lugset is by Long Shen. Must be lugs made for an oversize tubeset, almost certainly investment-cast. What's the BB threading and seat post size?

Seat post size is a 27.2. Not too sure on the threading of the bb. I will check that when I get home. The frame takes long reach calipers.

just looked up LS (Long Shen) bottom brackets and the one that closely matches yours is the LB204, which comes with a "heart shaped cutout" from the factory. I'm guessing this is a stock BB shell, so the frame might be made by ANYbody who can buy LS framebuilding bits...which means just about ANYbody, from a big manufacturer to a first time student builder. From what I can see, your frame looks well made...other than that I have no clue as to who made it. That shell is available with British(ISO) or Italian threading.

Thanks for the info so far. I just checked the bb threading and it is British. I seemed to have found a serial number under a thick coat of paint. Looks like it s M380XXXX. Cant' make out the rest.
