Snagged at World Voyageur in Blue.

I pays to be in the "network". Thanks Fender 1. I picked this up about a mile from my house. 1972 World Voyageur in opaue blue. Overall pretty good condition with some scratching, and minor surface rust on the chrome. The owner took the orginal dried up Brooks off. The seat had some sentimental significance.

Can I ask how much you paid. I have three (orange, red, and yellow). Two in my size but no space to store I tried to sell one last year. Interest in Boston very weak.

I paid $70.00. Probably could of gotten it for $50.00, but didn't push it.

A red 1973 World Voyageur? I thought they were only available in blue, yellow and orange.

Bikes: Two wheeled ones

VERY nicely done Nikko! That's pay for a nice compact gear or two.

You are correct sir. Red & silver were offered in 1976 as the Voyageur II

Ya, I guess you are right.
This frame with shipping went for more then I could get for the bike.
https://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...AA%3AUS%3A1123

Then you start adding parts:

https://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...EwR3nu2nA%253D

This Crane rear is cheap. They often go for much more.
https://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...EwR3nu2nA%253D

And we haven't even added in wheels, seat post, saddle, brakes, and the disposables. You start looking at a value twice that of the whole bike.
