Resurrecting my dad's Cannondale SR400, and the old look pedals he put on it are giving me fits.
I bought shoes and cletes for them, and I can clip in just fine. However, I wear a 15 show, and I have heal and toe strike issues clipping out of them. I have fallen down enough that I'm starting to not want the bike. So I'm going to put platforms on it for now.

I just want to make sure the sugino DGLP cranks on them don't have some weird kind of thread size since it's an 80's bike. Will modern road pedals work on it?

Should be standard 9/16". If you want to unload the LOOK set, I might be interested. My '85 SR500 is sitting sans pedals at the moment.

I have a 1986 Cannondale SR400 also, and the Sugino cranks have the standard threading. I went clipless in 2007.
