I am in the process of fixing up a '79 varsity that I got for free. As I don't want to put too much money into it, I was wondering if anyone had stencils for the Schwinn and Varsity decals. Preferably the ones which are set in the sort of rounded diamond as in the picture at

I was going to stencil my Raleigh but never got around to it. My approach was to find a good picture, ask someone to measure their graphics, print the picture the appropriate size, and cut the stencil myself. The sticking points for me were a) what kind of paper to use for the stencil; b) what kind of adhesive to use to hold the stencil to the frame - something that would stick it down well so the graphics are crisp, and still be removable without too much trouble.

The Schwinn Logo is still on the bike enough where I can do some tracing and then fill in the gaps. With a little photoshop work I should have a decent template to go on.

I'm just having a bit more trouble with the "Varsity" logo.
If anyone has one of those decals on their own bike could you please provide a few simple measurements for me?

I should be able to get the font close enough with the Schwinn logo as a guide.
