Bikes: 25 at last count. One day I'll make a list

Don't be a jerk!

I found some the reader comments as funny as the ads themselves!

I only knew who Poriskova was because of Sports Illustrated and she married a Cars guy.
The other two, no clue.

Paulina Porizkova?? I haven't heard that name since she did that movie with Tom Skerrit. it looks like a goofy movie and most Peds around here jaywalk anyway

NYC must be a pretty tough place to ride a bike.

Bikes: Upright and Recumbent....too many to list, mostly Vintage.

I love these ads. Seen em a few times on TV. The local news kinda tried to make a stink about them calling people "Jerks"...as if its a harsh term gimmie a break. "Jerk" is as toned down as they could make it and still have the censors on board. I call em worse than that.

I think its cool to see Batali and whats-his-name on bikes

Bikes: Two wheeled ones

Having ridden in NYC recently, it's the pedestrians who need the don't be a jerk campaign (as pointed out by many of the comments).

It would be amusing if it weren't for the fact that the NYPD looks for every excuse to ticket cyclists the moment they exit a bike lane.

In short, it's subliminally anti-cyclist, given the actual situation there (to wit, KonAaron's comments).

Did you ever hear of that organization Car-Free New York? Sounds like a great concept.
